The Band Toto Asia
Toto was expanding its production facilities in the overseas market and operating in France, Germany, Indonesia, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and the People's Republic of China. North America was seen as an area of growth for Washlet toilets and bidet seats, as opposed its "base" markets in Japan and China.
Dhaniram Toto recorded Toto words to ensure that the future generation could read the words. However, many of the words were being replaced by foreign ones, like dui from Bengali for verandah.

Origins
The company was founded in 1917 and its early years were a mirror of Japan's economic growth. In the first half of 1917, Toto made goods to meet the demand for modern, contemporary urban housing. It used the first tunnel kilns in the country that could produce ceramics continuously. It also pioneered the use of automation for production control, allowing greater efficiency and consistency.
The company began expanding overseas in the latter part of the 1980s to profit from new markets and sales opportunities. It launched the Cera Trading Company, importing and marketing other products of manufacturers to complement its own line of plumbing fittings and sanitary earthenware. 토지노 사이트 increased sales and expanded the firm's market share in the world.
In the 1990s Toto began focusing on research and development for water-related appliances. It also upgraded its distribution system to better serve the needs of its customers and boost profits. The company adopted a just-in-time approach to managing its supply chain and applied the same method in its sales strategy. This resulted in a higher level of customer satisfaction.
Toto has continued to innovate on the toilet technology. The latest toilet from the company features an environmentally friendly, powerful tornado flush. The company also makes use of recycled water in its production process and has a green procurement policy. Apart from toilets, Toto manufactures bathtubs and faucets, as well as hand dryers that are more energy efficient than standard models.
The first museum of the company was opened in the year 2015, and it has exhibitions about Toto's iconic products and their development, its group companies (all related to ceramics), history of plumbing and products like bath units, and in a separate gallery, Toto products sold around the world. The museum houses the bathroom equipped with a WASHLET as well as other toilet innovations.
Before beginning the formation of Toto members of the group performed session work for various musicians. Keyboardist David Paich, drummer Jeff Porcaro, and guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather all performed on the album Silk Degrees by Boz Scaggs. They also performed on records by Steely Dan, Seals and Crofts, and Sonny and Cher.
Discography
With a name like Asia you'd think that the group would be prog kings and queens however, it's actually a fairly straightforward rock band. The band was initially a four-piece and released two albums in 1979, the self-titled debut album and 1980's Armed to the Teeth. 토지노 커뮤니티 has a varied musical background but their biggest success came in 1982 with Toto IV.
The album was a major blockbuster, however it did not come without its share of problems. The record companies put the band under pressure to deliver an album that was a success or else they would pull the album. Luckily for Toto they delivered, with the help of the smash hit single "Africa."
Toto's musical mastery owes a lot to their prior experience, as the band members were session musicians for artists such as Boz Scaggs, Steely Dan, and Seals and Crofts before starting the group. Their distinctive sound has become the standard of '80s music, influencing many contemporary artists.
The album begins hard with songs such as Running Out of Time or Unknown Soldier that show the band's ability to write great AOR tunes that slowly get into your head. The album also has some slower, more jazzy tracks, like The Little Things and Chinatown. The album concludes with Great Expectations. This song blends folk and distorted AOR which could seem like a complete blunder, but is very effective.
After Toto IV, the band's fortunes began to decline. David Hungate left to concentrate on his solo career and the band was through numerous drummers. In 1984, Bobby Kimball left the band after drug charges. The band continued with Michael Porcaro, Steve Lukather and Michael Porcaro.
Despite the chaos, Toto forged ahead and released Isolation however, which was not as successful as IV. However, the band still had a successful chart-topping album in the year 1992 with Kingdom of Desire. This album marked the conclusion of the original Toto lineup and was the first album featuring a new singer, Simon Phillips.

Line-up
The band's third album, Turn Back, marked the return to the traditional sextet style of the previous albums. It was a stronger, more consistent effort with an edge that was more pronounced than Hydra. The edgier sound of Turn Back was a reflection of the development of the group. The drummer Bobby Kimball's increasing ability to play was evident in the vocal delivery of Joseph Williams, who had become more confident and mature. David Paich's keyboard work was also more sophisticated, sharper, and less derivative on earlier efforts.
After touring to promote the album, the group recorded a live concert in Amsterdam which was released as a two-CD set entitled Falling In Between Live on Eagle Records. The group released a new studio album a few months after and then embarked on a tour around the world to promote the album. In this time keyboardist Greg Phillinganes filled in for Paich and bassist David Hungate left the group to spend more time with his family.
In 1998, Paich and Lukather started exploring old demos and tapes in search of a new record featuring songs that were never recorded before. The album was released in 2001 as a duo album titled Then & Now. It was the first album by the band that did not include a single song with the word "A" in its title and it included one previously unreleased track, "Kari-Anne".
By 2003, Toto had begun to decline in popularity. The group's fourth album, Old Is New, was a commercial failure, and vocalist Williams suffered from a bad case of laryngitis which hampered his singing. In addition, Hungate returned to Nashville and drummer Leland Sklar was replaced by Shem von Schroeck.
Downes along with the other original members of Asia - Wetton, Palmer, and Howe--convened an event in England in the beginning of 2006 to discuss the possibility of formally reforming the band. The group, which was missing Howe who was working with Yes during that time, was renamed Toto XIV. They toured extensively.
In 2010, the band reunited for another reunion tour with a slightly different line-up, including guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather, drummer John Pierce, bassist Shannon Forrest, and multi-instrumentalists Warren Ham and Dominique Taplin. pop over to this site featured a special guest appearance from singer Michael McDonald and a backing vocalist named Mabvuto Carver.
